1. Purpose and Scope
This Child Safety and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Standards Policy sets out the principles, standards, and procedures adopted by SureSpace Technology Ltd (“SureSpace”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) to protect children from sexual abuse and exploitation on our platform.
This policy applies to all SureSpace services, including the SureSpace mobile application, web platforms, and associated features globally. It is binding on all employees, contractors, moderators, and third-party partners engaged in product development, content moderation, or user interaction.
While SureSpace is an 18+ platform designed exclusively for adults, we recognise our legal and ethical responsibility to detect, prevent, and report any instances of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, or exploitation that may surface through user-generated content or communications.
2. Policy Statement
SureSpace maintains a zero-tolerance stance toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including any depiction, solicitation, or facilitation of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
We are committed to:
- Preventing the creation, distribution, or consumption of CSAM or any other exploitative material involving minors.
- Detecting, removing, and reporting CSAM in compliance with applicable laws.
- Ensuring that all users, partners, and staff understand and uphold these
standards. - Cooperating fully with relevant authorities and child-safety organisations
worldwide.
3. Definitions
- Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE): Any sexual activity, imagery, or communication involving a person under the age of 18 that is exploitative, abusive, or otherwise unlawful.
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any content that depicts or represents a child engaged in sexual activity, the sexual exploitation of a child, or the sexualisation of a child.
- Grooming: Actions intended to build an emotional connection with a child to exploit, abuse, or traffic them.
- Child: Any person under the age of 18 years, regardless of local definitions.
4. Age Restriction
SureSpace is explicitly restricted to users aged 18 and above.
We employ strict age-verification and content-moderation mechanisms to mitigate the risk of
underage acceess. Accounts found or suspected to be operated by minors are promptly removed.
5. Detection, Moderation, and Escalation Procedures
- Automated and Manual Monitoring: SureSpace employs a combination of automated systems and trained moderators to detect content or behaviours potentially indicative of CSAE or CSAM.
- Immediate Action: Any detected or reported content that may constitute CSAE or CSAM is immediately removed from public access and quarantined for internal review and legal compliance steps.
- Reporting to Authorities: If SureSpace obtains actual knowledge of CSAM, we will:
- Preserve relevant evidence
- Disable the associated accounts
- Report the content and user information to appropriate authorities in the UAE
and internationally (including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)
where applicable).
- Moderator Training: All SureSpace moderation personnel receive mandatory training on child-safety protocols, CSAM detection, and legal reporting obligations.
- Escalation: Escalations are handled directly by SureSpace’s Child Safety Compliance Lead in coordination with legal counsel and local law-enforcement contacts as required.
6. User Reporting Mechanisms
Users may report any content, behaviour, or user profile suspected of involving child sexual abuse or exploitation directly through the app’s in-app reporting tool.
The in-app tool allows a user to:
- Report harmful or exploitative content without leaving the app
- Provide details for investigation
- Receive confirmation that their report has been received.
Reports are reviewed within 24 hours, prioritised by severity, and subject to escalation in line with Section 5 above.
7. Cooperation with Law Enforcement and Regulators
SureSpace cooperates with recognised law-enforcement authorities, governmental bodies, and internationally recognised child-safety organisations. We comply with all relevant UAE, international, and digital-platform regulations, including:
- Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combating Rumors and Cybercrimes (UAE)
- Global standards of the Technology Coalition and INHOPE network
- Google Play Developer Program Policies on CSAE compliance.
8. Data Protection and Privacy
When handling CSAE-related incidents, SureSpace ensures that:
- User data and evidence are retained only as required by law
- Data is shared solely with authorised authorities
- All internal access is restricted to designated personnel bound by confidentiality.

10. Policy Review and Updates
This policy is reviewed annually, or sooner if required by changes in law or regulation.
Updates will be published at www.sure-space.com and within SureSpace’s app and Play Store listing.
11. Compliance Statement
By maintaining and publishing this policy, SureSpace Technology Ltd affirms compliance with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards (effective March 2025).
We confirm that:
- This document is publicly accessible without authentication
- It explicitly references our company and app name
- It addresses child safety, CSAE, and CSAM prevention
- We have implemented an in-app mechanism for user reporting.
